Roof Repair
The Church reached out to us that they were seeing moisture intrusion (brown staining) on interior ceilings, in areas throughout the large 18,000 square foot metal roof. After doing a visual interior inspection of the areas of concern, we scheduled and planned to fly our Drone with Artificial Intelligence over the 18,000 square foot metal roof, to detect any roof damage or deficiencies.
The photographs collected by the Drone with Artificial Intelligence detected numerous areas of concern where moisture intrusion was entering the roof assembly. Fastener corrosion was evident as the Church is located in Matagorda County, Texas and within close proximity of the Texas Gulf Coast.
Over 109 photographs were taken by the Drone and many areas were identified by the Artificial Intelligence of damage and concerns. Some original installation deficiencies were overserved.
A FREE comprehensive evaluation assessment and FREE ESTIMATE were provided to the church leaders with multiple options to resolve their roofing concerns. They decided to proceed forward and hire us to provide the least and most economical solution. We performed remedial repairs to valley sealants, sealed some of the fasteners in the subject areas, and performed some preventative maintenance. This saved the church over 97% of the cost of a New Roof and over 95% of the cost of a metal roof coating, which the church was considering.

St. John’s Lutheran Church

Roof Repair
The Church representative reached out to us about an ongoing leak that was recreating concern for the Church. They had been using a local handyman who had tried numerous times applying a caulk over the leak which was located adjacent to the bell tower wall. This area was located at an addition that was built over 15 years ago. The Church decided they were not getting long lasting results and stopping the water intrusion by using multiple times the local handyman. Over a period of time, the handyman was paid multiple times for each repair trip, but the caulking of the area did not last. In addition, the interior vestibule of the Church was receiving water intrusion, damage to ceiling and walls – right at the front door and main entrance to the Church.
After careful observation and damage assessment we provided both the FREE assessment and a FREE Estimate to the Church. We were able to remove flashing and roofing at the area of the leak. Then we opened up the roofing assembly down to the wood decking. We installed new underlayment and rubber-like water barrier flashing to seal the area. Then we installed the metal wall flashing and counter flashed the area. Then we installed new matching dimensional shingles at the area of the work.
The Church was satisfied that the leak was completely repaired, and water intrusion was stopped. They later asked us to provide a FREE ESTIMATE to repair interior Water Damage to the Ceiling and Walls and install a new back door which was in poor operational condition. After the drywall was replaced and re-textured to match and the new door installed, we completely painted the interior of the vestibule. Bringing this area back to like-new condition.

The Church representative reached out to us. Their Parsonage had a older foam roof installed on a low slope roof. The elastomeric coating was old and the sun’s Utra-Violet Rays were beginning to affect the integrity of the urethane foam roofing. We installed a thick silicone-based roof coating system that provided a seamless seal over the entire roof and resulted in waterproofing the roof and protecting the urethane foam for many years to come.
